Please note this is only a guide and depends on how big you want your cake slices (or who is cutting it!)
single tiered cakes
At the heart of every celebration, there’s usually a cake to be cut and shared. A Boho showstopper not only tastes incredible, but it also has the wow factor too!
How many guests are having cake?
Each cake is priced individually according to your choice of flavours, fruits, flowers and frosting. Here’s an approximate party cake price guide based on the number of guests at your celebration.
8” classic single tier cake - 15-20 portions. from £90
8” tall single tier cake - 20-25 portions. From £110
10” classic single tier cake - 25-30 portions. From £140
10” tall single tier cake - 40-45 portions. From £200

tiered wedding cakes
Each wedding cake is priced individually according to flavour, icing, floral decoration and style. All my wedding cakes use a smooth Swiss Meringue buttercream, with the options of having it fully iced or with exposed sponges (naked or semi-naked*).
Here is a general guide to prices and sizes.
Tiers, layers & slices
Each tier of your wedding cake consists of 3 layers of sponge which are filled with buttercream and curd or compote - so this makes them pretty tall! Wedding slices are different from the classic ‘triangular’ birthday cake portion, they’re rectangular in shape, and as a general guide, they come in two sizes:
“Finger Portion” - approximately 1” x 1” x 6” - a smaller portion of cake if you just want your guests to have a piece of cake but it is not the main dessert.
“Dessert Portion” - approximately 1”x 2” x 6” — a larger slice of cake for your guest to enjoy as perhaps a dessert option or if you want a more generous portion each.
*prices for naked and semi-naked styles will vary.

floral sheet wedding cakes
My long rectangular floral sheet cakes really do have the wow factor. Less formal than a tiered cake and less stressful than tall tiers—this cake trend seems like a keeper.
Rectangular shaped cakes are much easier to cut and portion than circular ones and are extremely popular with catering teams too!
Your cake can be as long as you like or you can add extra layers and make your cake taller.
calculating sheet cake sizes & prices
Portions can be as smaller as large as you like but generally we calculate the size of wedding cakes either as finger or dessert portions.
As a rough guide, it is quite useful to think of every foot of cake serving around 40-50 guests at your party.
“Finger Portion” - approximately 1” x 1” x 4.5” (approximate height of the cake)
“Dessert Portion” - approximately 1”x 2” x 4.5” (approximate height of the cake)
The prices below are just a guide and are based on two layers of cake per sheet cake with homemade fillings
the single floral wedding sheet cake
A starting size for a sheet cake is a rectangle just over1 foot long serving a small wedding party of 40-50 guests with generous portions of cake with two layers of cake and one layer of filling inside. All covered in Swiss meringue buttercream and decorated with seasonal edible florals in your colour palette. Serves many more if having tiny taster portions.
Dimensions are approx. 9” x 13” long. Starts from £250.
the double floral wedding sheet cake
2 rectangular sheet cakes joined together and covered in Swiss meringue buttercream, decorated with seasonal edible florals in your colour palette. Around 2 feet long, this double floral sheet cake serves 80-100 guests with generous portions and measures.
Dimensions are approx. 9” x 26” long. Starts from £500.
the triple floral wedding sheet cake
This showstopping, super long 3 ft. cake serves around 150 or more guests with generous helpings and works well as a huge cake bar to serve as dessert OR keep some cake back for the evening party (or even for breakfast!) Looks spectacular when on show when decorated with seasonal edible florals in your colour palette
Dimensions are approx. 9” x 39” long. Starts from £750.
other cost considerations
Other important elements you may need to ‘factor-in’ when planning your cake.
What kind of edible floral decorations do you prefer?
I can offer different edible floral packages from a more minimal decoration to a full-on floral masterpiece. Organic, edible flowers have to be ordered from a specialist local flower farm in Kenford. Flowers ordered from commercial florists or supermarkets are not suitable to go on cakes as they are not food grade and many fresh flowers are not only toxic but they’re sprayed with insecticides and chemicals.
Delivery and Set-Up costs
It’s important to factor in delivery and set-up of your cake, especially for tiered designs which require extra care and attention during transport. To ensure your cake arrives safely and is presented beautifully at your venue, delivery is charged at 50p per mile, plus £10 per hour for delivery and set-up time.
Cost of loaning or purchasing a cake stand from me
I can source a cake stand for your special day, whether you’d prefer to hire one or purchase it to keep. A rustic wooden tree-log stand is available from approximately £30 and upwards depending on the size of your cake. Alternatively, I can source a beautiful white ceramic cake stand starting from around £40.
